Penguin in Japanese is: ペンギン pengin.
Almost the same!

First, take a square of paper.

Place your paper, colour side up, like a diamond.

Fold the paper in half to make a white triangle.

Turn back part of the side, as shown.

Flip it over and fold the other side to match.

Open the paper out like this.

Fold down the top point to make the head.

Flip the paper over and fold up the bottom point like this to make a base.

Fold the penguin in half again. It is almost finished!

Carefully pull out the head.

Now you can make a whole family of penguins!

*If your penguin has trouble standing up, make the base bigger.
